• Applicants can apply for one or more programmes in the same form by indicating

How To Apply ?
All applications should be submitted online in PGEE portal To submit the application, a candidate has to complete two registration forms: Pre-Registration Form and Main Registration Form.

After filling the Pre-Registration form, the candidate receives an E-Mail which contains the link and identification code. The link should be opened in a browser by supplying the identification code to fill in the Main Registration Form.
• Filling of Main Registration Form.
The main registration form can only be filled by opening the link received through the E- Mail, after filling in the preceeding pre-registration form. Admission Procedure
Admission to PG programmes will be on the basis of the performance at the Post-Graduate And PhD Entrance Examination (PGEE 2009) and an interview to be held at Hyderabad.

An all-India examination to test the preparedness of the applicants will be held on February, 2009. The examination will be held at Hyderabad and a number of major cities in the country depending on the number of applicants from each region. The entrance examination will consist of two papers. Paper I test the general aptitude of the candidate and will consist of objective questions from Mathematics, Programming, and Logical Reasoning. Paper II is the Subject Paper, which tests the candidate's subject knowledge.
Important Notes :
• Note that the Registration WILL NOT be considered until the candidate completes the
Main Registration Form. After filling in the Main Registration Form, the candidate gets an Acknowledgement E-Mail, which confirms that the registration is complete.
• The purpose of Pre-Pregistration Form is to Confirm the E-Mail address. So it is very
important to give a valid E-Mail ID as it will be used for later communication.
• Note that the candidate can also update the information such as program details and
center till 2nd Feb 5:00 PM, by following the same link which has been received after filling in pre-registration form.

Financial Aid: Full financial aid in the form of tuition and stipend is available as teaching or research assistantships to deserving candidates of MS by Research and PhD. These will cover all or part of the tuition fees and living expenses. We expect to provide financial assistance to all students during their research work. Partial support is available in the form of teaching assistantship to MTech students in their second year based on their academic performance. Financial support is available for MTech in Computer Science and Information Security (CSIS) and Computational Linguistics students. Tuition fees: The tuition fee is covered in the financial support that is extended to all full-time research students and the fee payable by the student is ZERO. Can I get a stipend during my studies? Almost all full-time students of the above programmes are paid a stipend towards the living expenses. The stipend varies with the year, programme, and source of funding. For M.Tech programmes in CS, CSIS, VLSI & ES, Bioinformatics, CASE The full-time tuition fees for the students of these M.Tech programmes is Rs 62,500 per semester .The fees are payable at the beginning of the semester during registration. The living expenses such as the hostel, mess, and electricity charges are based on actual expenses. I am a GATE-qualified candidate, can i get a scholarships? GATE-qualified students of the M.Tech programmes are eligible to receive the scholarships as per AICTE norms. These are disbursed to the students after the money is received from AICTE. MS by Research (Computational Natural Sciences)
This is a research driven masters program meant for candidates with an exceptional background in basic sciences. It will provide advanced training in theoretical and computational natural sciences. The duration of the course may extend beyond 2 yrs. Based on the decision of the academic committee, some of the core courses prescribed for the Post B.Sc. Dual degree program may be waived for MS by research students, depending on their background. They must however fulfill the minimum credit requirements for electives and thesis respectively.
Eligibility criteria: Master's degree in Physics, Chemistry, Maths or other areas of fundamental science or BTech in CS/IT/Biotech/Bioinformatics. PhD (Computational Natural Sciences)
Students admitted to the program have to complete a course work followed by breadth and depth examinations apart from the thesis work. The expected duration is between 4 - 5yrs.

This is a four year integrated course offered to meritorious Science graduates (Physics/Chemistry Honors) with an aptitude for research. The programme aims at providing breadth in Computer Science along with domain specialization with an opportunity for thesis work in the final year. Note: A minimum cut-off score in this paper is compulsory for evaluation of candidate's subject paper (Paper II).

compression members, beam, slab, footing, staircases, basic concepts of prestressed concrete, riveted and welded joints, steel beam column connections, plate girders and design of base plate.
In addition to this, some questions from engineering mathematics like determinants, matrices, limit, continuity and differentiability, mean value theorems, integral calculus, partial derivatives, maxima and minima, ordinary differential equations and applications, initial and boundary value problems, Laplace and Fourier transforms, test for convergence, sequences and series.
e. Agriculture Duration : 1 1/2 hours
The subject test consists of both objective and descriptive questions in general agriculture/horticulture.
f. PGEE for CCNSB Subject Paper Computational Natural Sciences and Bioinformatics
Selection for interview for the streams (i) Bioinformatics and (ii) Computational Natural Sciences will be based on the score in this paper and the score in the general aptitude test. This examination paper comprises of three sections: Physics, Chemistry, Biology & Bioinformatics, and students, depending on their background are expected to attempt any one Section as a major and another section as a minor part. The questions will be multiple-choice.
